Boys (Volleyball got 1st position winning Gold Medal in regional Sports Meet held at KV1 Patiala w.e.f 10-09-2005 to 12-09-2005

In Badminton Under 17 - Girls the school bagged Gold Medal in Regional Sports Meet held at KV 47 Chandigarh w.e.f. 10-09-2005 to 11-09-2005.

Two girls got selected for KVS National Meet in the above-mentioned tournament.

Badminton (Girls) under 14 got 2 nd position in Regional Sports Meet and a girl got selected for KVS National Meet.

In athletic our boys won 5 Gold, 5 Silver and 4 bronze Medals at Regional Level.

In athletics our girls got 1 gold, 1 silver & 5 bronze medals and one girl got selected for KVS National Meet.

Four girls participated in KVS National Meet (3 in Badminton, 1 in athletics) held at KV 1 Chandigarh. W.e.f. 3-10-2005 to 7-10-2005.

8 boys participated in National Meet held at KV-2 Chandi Mandir.

A boy named Sameer Gupta got Silver Medal in discuss Throw at KVS National Level & got selected for SGFI.

Deepak of class VIII got 1 st position in Cross Country Organised by RCF on 9-10-2005.

Gurpreet Singh of XI B participated in state Level tournament in Volleyball held at Ferozpur w.e.f. 20-11-2005 to 23-11-2005.

Annual Sports Day was organised on 21-11-2005. Many budding athletes of the school stunned the viewers with their stunning performance.

Sameer Gautam of XIB who got selected for SGFI is attending a coaching Camp at PUNE w.e.f 15-01-2006 and will subsequently take part in SGFI Games scheduled to be held from 22-01-2006.

The school has cause for celebrations as Master Vikram Singh of class IX has brought Laurels to school with his stupendous achievements in sports.Indian Army launched a scheme named "Mission Olympics-Catch them young" to find the sports talent in young childern of Army perssonel. It is a matter of pride that Master Vikram Singh has made his mask as he has got selected along with 16 others childern during the trials.
Under this scheme his glorious success offers him a privilage to join APS Dhaula Khan w.e.f academics session 2006-07 for further training. |
The boy has been bringing grace to the school's name in the past also.He also bagged medals by participating in KVS Regional Levels Meets in Athletics.
He represented out Chandigarh bottom Region at KVS national levels also.
